At Lectures in Bars, you're not just watching, you're part of the conversation. Preferably with a cold drink in your hand.
Our speakers are scientists. Experts who truly know their stuff and, more importantly, how to share it.
Once a month we pop up at the Barbue Cocktail bar in the Hoxton-Lloyd Hotel. In september is our very first edition. Check it out below and hope to see you there.
Reframing: Change Your Life by Thinking Radically Different
September 18 - Karim Benammar
Barbue Cocktail Bar - Hoxton - Lloyd Hotel (Oostelijke Handelskade 34)
Free entry with limited capacity. Join the guest list below to reserve your spot.
Are you able to challenge your own assumptions?
Sometimes a radically different perspective can open up surprising new possibilities.
Think about it: can you always rely on data? Do we really need every rule or ritual we follow? Is the customer (or your best friend) always right? Is input really the same as output?
In this interactive talk, Karim playfully helps you look at familiar issues from a fresh angle. Through his interactive talk, one-on-one conversations, and discussion in a relaxed bar setting, you’ll explore how much of what we take for granted is actually based on assumptions, and how questioning them can spark new ideas, insights, and ways of seeing the world.
Come with curiosity, grab a drink, and experience how a shift in perspective might just change your life.
